1. Have you ever fought with God and been willing to engage with Him in the type of relationship that Jacob did?

2. How can a Jacob-like wrestling with God free you from living off the approval of others?

3. How did Jacob receive God’s blessing? (Chpt. 32)  In turn, how do we receive this same type of blessing from God?

4. Why does God allow this type of interaction?  What does this teach us about the kind of God and Father that He is?

5. What is the result for Jacob when God blesses him? (Chpt 35) How is this same blessing and change of identity available to us?
