KIDS AND YOUTH

At Redemption Church, our kids and youth ministries seek to create environments where our kids can become rooted in the Gospel.

Our hope is that every child that walks through our doors would discover what it means to follow Jesus, make great friends, and discover how to live out their faith every day.

Kids and Youth FAQ

  • If it is your first time attending Redemption or just your first time checking your kids in for Kids Ministry, just go straight to the info desk on your right as you enter the main doors. One of our staff will ensure that getting your kids checked in is done smoothly and quickly!

  • We make sure that your kids’ time in class is both fun and engaging! They will play games, socialize with other kids, work on bible memory, and kids 3 and up will have a bible lesson from The Gospel Project.

  • Our kids and youth volunteers are trusted community members of Redemption Church. Each volunteer has been trained and has passed a background check before being placed on our kids team. We also ensure that there is an adequate number of volunteers for each room and that no child is ever left alone with less than two adults.

  • Yes! It is our desire to provide a healthy and safe environment for all of the children and workers at Redemption.

Parents are encouraged to be considerate of other children when deciding whether to place children under our care. We abide by the recommendations of the American Academy of Pediatrics who recommend that a child should not leave home when any of the following symptoms exist:

●Fever* ● Vomiting or diarrhea ● Croup, wet, dry, or barky cough ● Sore throat ● Any unexplained rash ● Lice ● Any communicable diseases ● Any skin infections ● Pink eye ● Green or yellow discharge from nose ● Any known exposure to Covid within the last 14 days ● Any symptoms of childhood diseases (scarlet fever, measles, mumps rubella, chicken pox or whooping cough or any other communicable disease not listed here)

*Children should be free from fever for 24 hours, without the assistance of medication, before participating in any activities or being placed in a Redemption Kids classroom.
