  1. What is the primary purpose for which God saved us for and the primary command of these verses? (v. 15-16)

  2. What does it mean to be holy?

  3. How do we live out and reconcile the tension of who you are now and who you should be - not being able to live up to the standard of holiness that scripture calls us to?

  4. How can we fight for holiness? What role does hope play in holiness?

  5. How do we discipline our minds to set our hope completely on the reality of eternity that’s waiting for us?  What’s your game plan to set your mind on hope when you don’t feel hopeful?

  6. Have you placed your hope and trust in Jesus as your Savior?

  7. What is the difference for a believer and an unbeliever in what it means to fear the Lord?
