Why does God allow suffering? What is the purpose?
1 Peter 4:12 tells us not to be surprised by suffering. Why is it helpful to not be surprised when suffering comes?
Suffering purifies (‘tests’) your faith. How are you seeing suffering do that in your life currently or how have you seen that in the past?
What is hardest for you to understand about suffering? What do you know about Christ that helps you to trust Him? How have you seen God be faithful in the middle of your suffering?
Who is an example in your life of someone who has suffered in a way that illustrates the truths of 1 Peter 4?
