1 Peter 3:8-22
8/4/19 - Drew Stevenson
How does our inner transformation take place to result in the unnatural characteristics of being unified, sympathetic, loving, compassionate and humble?
Are you cultivating the presence of Jesus in your life? If not, what are the barriers you’re facing that are keeping you from spending time with Him?
Read verses 13-17. Drew said that when we live the righteous life, we can expect to suffer. How have you seen this true in your own life and how has your suffering encouraged your walk with the Lord and shown hope to those around you?
Suffering has a unique way of drawing us near to Jesus and can be a tool for us to rightly see Jesus as set apart as holy and the only one to give us the approval we’re longing for. What are things in your life that are competing for that first-place spot in your heart and mind? What are you tempted to make the holy thing?
How do we access the presence of God?
